My love for design began in the world of fine arts – I developed my skills the old school way, by tracing over characters of some of my favorite [picture] books as a kid to get a handle on proportion and attempt to shade it in well enough to come to life and look like something.
Fast-forward to high school, my drawing and painting skills improved in realism and music became the inspiration for my work. The lyrics were my prompt and I visualized a message or an idea through illustration.
This is what bridged the gap between fine art and design for me and pivoted into a career of getting to know brands and becoming a visual storyteller though design.
I have 10+ years of experience working as a strategic visual designer across a variety of mediums at agencies, in-house design studios, and as an independent freelancer. As a Digital Design Director, I transform digital experiences and touchpoints to become human-centered through research, ideating, and thoughtful design solutions.

When I’m not designing or doodling – you will likely find me at concert, watching Steelers and Penguins games, or boxing at UFC gym.
And Zeus? That derived from years of introducing myself to people prompting them to say, “Oh, so like Zeus?”
